The idea of ‘Hong Kong
Trails Day’ comes from the International Trails Day which promote green message
of protecting nature trails and healthy lifestyle. While celebrating the 40th
Anniversary of the establishment of the MacLehose Trail, HK Trails Day will
provide various public education activities to encourage the appreciation of
beautiful nature trails in Hong Kong and visit them in a sustainable way.

Game Fair about Sustailable trails and Leave No Trace
By walking on 8 selected nature trails and on-the-spot observation, you will know about the unique stories of each trail and understand concept of 「Leave No Trace」.
What you need to do is just bring along your smart phone. By clicking on the QR code along the trails, you will obtain information of specific spots. Anyone can enjoy the self-guided visits at any time.

The country trails are channels leading us in touch with nature. They also performed as economic networks between villages in the old days. There are many popular hiking trails in Hong Kong, how many you have been to? What memories you have had with these trails?
The 「The Trail, The Natural Beauty」 photo contest invites you to explore the beautiful natural scenery of hiking trails through your cameras, and to capture your valuable memories and affections to the trails.
There are two categories “Landscape” and “Families” in the competition.
