Founder and Executive Director
Edwin has been actively engaged in environmental protection work for over 27 years. He has held senior management positions of green groups, such as director and deputy director. During the period, he placed great concern on various green topics, e.g. waste, air, and energy. Edwin is a member of the Food Wise Hong Kong Steering Committee and its sub-committees and Co-opted member of the Working Group of the Advisory Committee on Water Supplies. Before that, he served on the Advisory Council on the Environment, Task Force on External Lighting, The Country and Marine Parks Board, etc. In 2009, Edwin was awarded the Medal of Honour by the HKSAR Government in recognition of his long-term contribution to environmental protection and education.
Director of Community Partnership
Vivien, after graduating from the CUHK (Sociology), has been working in the environmental field for over 17 years. She has formulated and managed diversified public education programmes, including nature appreciation training programmes for teachers, Solar Cart Race; Waste No Food Campaign, a community-based in-depth education programme; food waste audit at schools, food waste recycling pilot scheme, etc. She also initiated different innovative programmes such as “Tree-planting Challenge”, second-hand barter market at public housing estates, Green O Camp at universities, etc. She achieved her Master degree in Environmental Management from HKU in 2007, and is a certified Leave No Trace Trainer. She was appointed as co-opted member of Country Park Committee (2009-2013) and is now participating in the Steering Group on the Modifications of Recycling and Refuse Collection Facilities in Public Places.
Director of Environmental Advocacy
Hahn has been engaging in environmental protection work for over 20 years and has taken the initiative in advocating waste reduction, especially in issues like producer responsibility, recycling, light pollution, etc. In recent years, he promotes citizen movements such as the “Take your litter home” campaign to care for the land.
Hahn was a member of the Support Group on Waste Charging of the Council for Sustainable Development (2013 – 2014). In 2014, he received the Roadshow ECO Star Award (Professional Group). He holds a EMBA degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a master degree in Environment, Culture and Society at Lancaster University of UK. He is also an alumnus of the School of Journalism at National Chengchi University, Taiwan.
